Chapter 1 – INTRODUCTION
Hi, my name is lucy sanders and i am 17 years old. I have natural blonde hair that stops at my waist and crystal blue eyes that i love so much. i have also lived in califonia my entire life and i have never been out of the state. I am a cheerleader at my school and somewhat popular. The head cheerleader hates my guts but she never kicked me off the team because she knows i am the best next to her. I love my mom (sharol), my dad (robert) and my twin sister (alicia) with all my heart. I dont see my parents alot because they are always working hard to keep the roof over our heads.I may not be rich but i am also not poor …you can simple say im normal.

Chapter 2 – THE BAD NEWS
Beep…..beep….beep….omg..why do i always have to wake up at 6:30 in the morning. “Ughhh” i yelled and flung my blanket off. i forced myself in the bathroom and stripped my clothes.After 10 minutes of bathing in hot water i finally looked for something to wear. I chose a simple tank top that wrote ‘ain’t nobody got time for that’ and my skinny jeans with my usual combat boots. I did my everyday makeup which consist of eyeliner and mascara. I like to look simple for school because its just SCHOOL. I walked in the kitchen seeing a post-it note on the fridge that wrote
‘Hey lucy we took Alicia to the doctors’ office because she was feeling sick. Enjoy your day, love mum and dad’
I sighed and decided to skip break fast today so I just grabbed an apple and left. I jumped im my car and headed for school. As soon as i reach in the building i was hugged and instantly i knew it was my best friends Olivia and Elizabeth. We said our hellos and splitted up into our seperate classes. During 3rd period a policeman came into our class and said.
“Excuse me Miss rivers, is there a lucy sanders in this class?”
As soon as he said my name the entire class turned their heads towards me. The policeman followed the direction of the students heads until it landed on me .He gave me a sympathetic look and said,
“Im sorry miss but we have some bad news about your family”
I replied , “what’s going on?”
he said “your parents and sister have been in a major crash and died almost instantly”
At that very moment my heart sank. How could everyone i love be gone in the blink of an eye . what did i do to deserve this?. Why me? All those thoughts flooded my mind as i started to cry. I ran out of class as fast as i could and drove home. As soon as i reached home i turned on the tv and saw
‘BREAKING NEWS. 3 MEMBERS OF THE SANDERS FAMILY DIED IN A MAJOR CAR ACCIDENT.’
What she said after that was didn’t register in my brain. I felt numb. I cried until their were no more tears again and by the time i finished it was 11:00pm and fell asleep.

Chapter 3- MOVING??
i woke up screaming my family’s name only realise that it was a nightmare. Then all the events from yesterday came flooding back to me . My family died!!!! now who will be their when im sick, when i need someone to talk to , when i want to spend family time ……i really need them. A knock on the door brought me back to reality. who would be at my front door at 6:15am. I slowly got up and fixed my face to make me look presentable ans headed for the door. As i opened the door i saw a middle aged woman , she looks the same age as my mum .I knew here from some where but i just could not put mh finger on it.
“Hello” she said
“Hello ” i replied
“I am so sorry for your loss and you might not rember me i was your mother’s best friend, Elena”
Thats where i remembered her from!!! my mum’s best friend .. she always talked about her and she said she babysitted me when i was younger but then she moved to florida when she got maried.
“Thank you and i remember you now” i said “you can come in of ypu would like”
“Thanks ” she said
“Well as you know you are not 18 as yet, so you need a legal guardian and your parents wanted me to be your guardian if anything ever happened to them” she said and i felt the tears wanting to come out but i held them im because i wanted to be strong for them.
“So you will be moving in with me and my family in Florida” she added.
“FLORIDA!!!! BUT THAT’S MILES AWAY…how will i see my friends and what about school?” I exclaimed.
“I amd sorry dear but you have too, as soon as the funeral is over we will leave here ok?” she asked hopefully
I sighed “ok. ”
The next day was the funeral and i cried once more along with everyone else. My friends attended and i said my goodybyes to them. i felt so sad that my family died and im leaving my friends but as my mom would say ‘be strong’.
I took one last look at my now empty house and sighed as walked to the car to go to the airport.
During the flight elena decided to talk ” Lucy i want to tell you about my family but promise not to freak out” she said uneasily
“Ok? ” i simply replied
“Well my husband’s name is frank and ………we have 6 boys” she said as if it was nothing.
Omg 6 boys…how in the world would i survive with six boys. My eyes were probably wide as saucers right now

Chapter 4 – MEETING THE BOYS
Lucy’s pov
Six boys ….. Oh my god. How am I going to survive here. We got a cab and when we pulled up in front of the anderson’s (elena’s last name) house , my mouth was wide open, my jaw dropped, I was completely amazed this house. It was huge, it was almost like a mansion….wait no, it is a mansion.
As we reached inside the house i was greated by a middle ages man who i guessed was Frank anderson. He was tall, had brownish, blondish hair and had green eyes.
“Hello, I’m Frank, Elena’s husband” he said in a deep voice.
“Hi, I’m Lucy, but I think you already know that, so I’ll stop talking now.” I said getting quieter and quieter with each word.
He chuckled and said “yes I do and I would like you to meet the boys.”
He walked over to the staircase and screamed, “BOYS GET DOWN HERE, WE HAVE A GUEST”
I heard a loud grunt from upstairs but footsteps making their way towards the staircase. All of them made their way down the stairs, my eyes widened in shock. They were all really good looking. I was probably drooling right now but I really didn’t care. They looked like models. And the little kids will grow up to be just as good looking as their brothers. As they all made their way down the stairs, Frank began to introduce me to them.
“Well there’s Chad, the oldest and he is 20, but he is in college so we don’t see him much. Then there is Chase who is 18” He said pointing to the boy with blonde hair and green eyes. Chase looked up from his phone and awkwardly waved at me.
“Next there is Caleb who is 17” He said and pointed to the boy with brown hair and blue eyes. His eyes looked like the ocean. If I looked at it to much, I would get lost in them.
“Christopher, who is 14.”
“Hey, don’t call me Christopher, Just Chris.” He said smiling brightly at me. All I did was smile back.
“Last but not least are the twins, Calvin and Collin.” The both of them looked at eachother, then at me, and ran and gave me a tight hug, one grabbing each leg.
After the boys finally let go of my leg, one of the other boys, Caleb I think broke the silence by asking the question I hoped nobody would ever ask.
“So, why are you here.” He said with literally no emotion in his voice.
I stared at him expressionless, my mouth unable to form words to answer his question.
Elena gratefully answered it for me.
“Caleb, don’t be rude, she has some family problems and is staying with us so be nice.”
I thanked Elena in my mind for that. I wouldn’t have known what to tell him.
‘This is going to be one hell of a stay’ I thought as Frank helped me with my bags.
🥁 Chapter 5

Chapter 5 – MOTORBIKE NO WAY
After elena showed me to my room and the boys helped me with my bags excluding caleb , i looked at the time and saw that it was only 8:30 so i decided to unpack.
I never really noticed how amazing their house is and how big my room is . This room is like me and my sister’s room combined. The walls are beige , there is a king sized bed in the middle and a walk in closet!! yay. I packed away most of my clothes and went to sleep 10:00 cause elena told me that school starts tomorrow.
NEXT DAY————————————
I woke up to a banging on the door. “WAKE UP!!” one of the boys said and im assuming its chase. ” im up im up ” i replied in a sleepy voice. i lazily walked in to shower and took a 10 minute bath. Then looked for some 1st day of school clothes.
I threw on a black skinny jeans and a tank top that says ‘never give up’ and my favourite blue and purple converse. I did my usual make up and grabbed my fone and headed to the kitchen.
It took me a while to find the kitchen in this house but i finally found it when i heard screaming which i assume are the twins.
As i walked in i was bombarded by the smell of pancakes and syrup.
“hi” i said
“hey dear” elena said in a cheerful tone
” are they always this loud ” i asked hoping they weren’t
“i am afraid so” just as she said that caleb walkin in looking hot… wait what ??? no i cant think that. its caleb the annoying douchebag.
“caleb darling you are taking lucy to school today” elena said and my mouth dropped while chase just smirked and replied “ok , come on sweet cheeks we
you leave early when im dropping you” i frowned and sighed but agreed to go so i just grabbed an apple and followed him to the garage. I saw a bunch of cars from a Ferrari to a jeep but caleb passed all those until he stopped at a motorbike.
my eyes bulged out an my jaw dropped ” their is no way in hell i am getting on that monster” i said feeling scared .
he simply chuckled and said “its just a bike, come on ill be there to protect you” he said giving a 20 watt smile . bipolar much
i just sighed and hopped on holding onto him for dear life even though the bike didn’t start yet.
